On the Robustness of Channel Allocation in Joint Radar and Communication Systems: An Auction Approach

Joint radar and communication (JRC) is a promising technique for spectrum re-utilization, which enables sensing data transmission to operate on the same frequencies devices. However, due multi-objective property of JRC systems, channel allocation nodes should be carefully designed maximize system performance. Additionally, because broadcast nature wireless signals, watchful adversary, i.e., warden, can detect ongoing transmissions attack system. Thus, we develop covert that minimizes detection probability by wardens, in friendly jammers are deployed improve covertness during operations. Furthermore, propose robust multi-item auction design such considers uncertainty bids. The proposed mechanism achieves properties truthfulness, individual rationality, budget feasibility, computational efficiency. simulations clearly show benefits our support systems provide incentive obtaining spectrum, auction-based against perturbations bids, highly effective working uncertain environments.
